Family Community Pantry

 First of all Happy Mother's Day to all moms, stepmoms, grannies, mother figures and all acting as mothers. Special mother's day greetings to our Mama Mary, my mother and mother in law in heaven and my Mutti in Koeln. Before my birthday, my daughters asked me what are my plans and wishes for my birthday. I told them i just wanted to have a community pantry to help the less fortunate ones in our place in San Pedro. It was granted and we were able to help less than 100 families and kids. With the kiddy pantry, the kids enjoyed their loots, and its a good relief for them because they are supposed to be just inside the house. Of course, health and safety protocols were strictly followed and everybody are happy.

Remembering my Mother Dear

 Today marked the 15th death anniversary of my mother. There's no single day that i don't remember her because i talk to her in my prayers everyday. I know that she is now happy in heaven and always guiding us. Nay, we love you very much and please protect us everyday. 

Dirk's Day Out

 Finally after more than a month of just staying at home because of the quarantine protocols, Dirk was able to experienced again the outside world. We have lunch at Racks ordering our favorite baby back ribs with mac and cheese. He also had a haircut at Figura Salon  while i am doing some errands.

Chay's 12th Birthday

 Our dear Chay will be 12 years old tomorrow, but she already had an advance celebration today. My daughter Arianne bought some foods and cake for her. For the past 12 years, she is really a good dog for us inspiring and giving us love. We are still lucky that she still has an appetite though she cannot see and hear us anymore. 

My Plants

 I would admit that i am really not into taking care of plants because i don't have a green thumb. But as they say, if you are really interested, you can learn it. This pandemic opened a lot of activities for me which i don't normally do and even enter into the world of being a plantita. I started with just few plants until i became addicted to buying more variations. Welcome to my green world, below are my plants and trees which makes me sane during this ECQ.

My New Health Essentials

 Aside from my bp machine, oximeter,  thermometer and other devices, i also have a nebulizer and a breathing exerciser. I wanted to boost my lungs because since i was a toddler, i am already diagnosed with a rheumatic heart and primary complex in lungs especially on the left side. With the increasing number of covid cases everyday, i need to protect myself and boost my immune system. I regularly do a health check every morning and started to eat vegetables and fish. I am also in the process of buying an oxygen tank just in case i have my asthma attack.

Sister's Bonding

Its now modiefied ECQ so i was able to drive yesterday at  BudLhed's house in San Pedro .  Though there are four families afflicted with COVID inside the subdivision, i just take extra precautions by not staying there longer. My sister came with her hubby to visit the house and i also signed some documents with regards to the new acquired property of Belle. I also got some vegetables and my brod in law bought some takeouts at Shakeys. 

By the way, Kim, my grandson in Canada celebrated his birthday with just a simple lunch at korean restaurant. He turned 19 last April 8 and i just wanted to wish him all the very best and hope he can balanced working and studying soon.

Covid cases are still rising despite all the measures done by our government and the vaccine rollout. I limit my errand to the grocery store by storing more foods and other essentials...
