My Birthday Celebrations

 I was really overwhelmed with happiness because of the surprise party that my kids prepared for me. To be honest, i am really not expecting anything because when they asked me what i want, i told them i just wanted to do some charity works for our less fortunate neighbors. I am a very simple person and i am really not into bigger celebrations. I  am really thankful for all my children for making me happy on my birthday and mother's day. Aside from the birthday surprise, we also have a community pantry for mommies and kids, feeding program for more than 400 kids at Barangay Inchican in Silang, Cavite, had birthday lunch with Dirk at Charlemagne Restaurant and also celebrate with close friends at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Family Community Pantry

 First of all Happy Mother's Day to all moms, stepmoms, grannies, mother figures and all acting as mothers. Special mother's day greetings to our Mama Mary, my mother and mother in law in heaven and my Mutti in Koeln. Before my birthday, my daughters asked me what are my plans and wishes for my birthday. I told them i just wanted to have a community pantry to help the less fortunate ones in our place in San Pedro. It was granted and we were able to help less than 100 families and kids. With the kiddy pantry, the kids enjoyed their loots, and its a good relief for them because they are supposed to be just inside the house. Of course, health and safety protocols were strictly followed and everybody are happy.

Remembering my Mother Dear

 Today marked the 15th death anniversary of my mother. There's no single day that i don't remember her because i talk to her in my prayers everyday. I know that she is now happy in heaven and always guiding us. Nay, we love you very much and please protect us everyday. 

Dirk's Day Out

 Finally after more than a month of just staying at home because of the quarantine protocols, Dirk was able to experienced again the outside world. We have lunch at Racks ordering our favorite baby back ribs with mac and cheese. He also had a haircut at Figura Salon  while i am doing some errands.

Chay's 12th Birthday

 Our dear Chay will be 12 years old tomorrow, but she already had an advance celebration today. My daughter Arianne bought some foods and cake for her. For the past 12 years, she is really a good dog for us inspiring and giving us love. We are still lucky that she still has an appetite though she cannot see and hear us anymore. 

My Plants

 I would admit that i am really not into taking care of plants because i don't have a green thumb. But as they say, if you are really interested, you can learn it. This pandemic opened a lot of activities for me which i don't normally do and even enter into the world of being a plantita. I started with just few plants until i became addicted to buying more variations. Welcome to my green world, below are my plants and trees which makes me sane during this ECQ.
