My Southforbes Friends
We're barely a week here and i'm very glad that some of our Southforbes neighbor friends visited us already. I missed them very much during our two month stay in Germany. We have lots of fun and they even tried some of the Zumba steps. Hopefully next week i will be able to join again our aerobics session.

Home Sweet Home
We're very happy to be back home after our two week trip to Cairo and the Nile River Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. The feeling is great to see my children and grandkids once again. We're still adjusting to the 6 hour difference and hopefully our body clock will return to normal soon.
By the way, Dirk was able to capture using our new camera the supermoon with its nice shape and image which seldom happen

Zumba Fitness
I missed my aerobics session back home so Dirk bought a complete Zumba fitness DVD set with sticks at Amazon. It became my latest fitness love affair and it involves dance and aerobic elements. The exercises include music with fast and slow rhythms, as well as resistance training. The music comes from the following dance styles: cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo, flamenco, chachacha, reggaeton, soca, samba, belly dancing, bhangra, hip hop music, axé music and tango. Its a nice way to lose weight and a stress reliever too. I can't wait to try this with my friends when we return to Philippines next month.

Family Celebration
My grandson Kim celebrated his 10th birthday today, Easter Sunday. He is the eldest son of my daughter Rosebelle who is working in Canada. Its just a very simple celebration attended by family members. Time runs fast, before he is our baby and now he's a responsible big brother to little Kitkit.

The Lenten Season
This Holy Week reminded all of us of the great compassion and the sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a great chance to take a pause from our busy lives and reflect on what matters most... our values, faith and mission. It is also a time to thank God for all the blessings big or small and the forgiveness to those who have wronged us. This Lenten season, my youngest daughter and her friends visited the Kamay ni Hesus in Lucban, Quezon. I have never been there and wish to visit the place one day even if its not a holy season. We should love God, others, pray and forgive all the time.
