My only brother Manuel or Awe as we fondly called him joined our creator last October 6 because of a lingering illness. He is very sick for a long time and we are a witness to all his pain and sufferings. Though we already accept his fate, its still painful considering that we grew up together and live closely to each other. He was a good uncle and second father to my children. Though we do have some misunderstanding before which is normal among siblings, its now all part of the past. What is important is he surrendered himself to our Lord and repent for all his sins and shortcomings. Though its still pandemic, our family here and there supported/helped each other, distance and time is not a hindrance. He was buried last Sunday at Everlasting Peace and he will now be together with my mother. Brother, wherever you are, we love you and we know that you and our parents will watch us closely from above.

October Celebrants
My grandaughter Daphne Antonette and grandson Kieth shared the same birthdate. Daph turned 17 and she will be a debutante next year and Kitkit is now 11. Time flies really fast and i feel i'm getting older. Anyway, i wish them both all the best and hope they finish their studies and be a good example to others.

Anthony's Birthday Celebration
How time flies very fast, my first born Anthony is now 41 years old. I gave birth to him when i was still young and it is in him i developed the mother in me. I know i have some flaws as a mom but i think overall i was able to raised all of them properly. He just have a simple birthday celebration with family and my wish for him is good health, hopefully his blood pressure will soon return to normal. I wish him all the best and for him to continue to be a good son, brother, uncle, grandfather and father to all his children. May God bless his family always...
By the way, below are some old photos of my children and grandchildren. They are now all grown ups and looking at them brings a lot of memories....
Our King
My Kingking who lived with me for three years is now very happy living with the family of my daughter Arianne. He is now a "changed" dog because he used to be an aggressive pup. I think it helps a lot if he is surrounded by people and other dogs because here its just me and Dirk. Though he still recognize me, he is now more at home with my family in San Pedro where they truly belong because his mom Chay used to live there.

Covid 19 Fear
Corona virus is real and its really affecting a lot of people and getting closer to home. With the new delta variant, it is more contagious because of fast mutation among people. In our family, my nephew Jon was tested positive for the virus and believe it or not, he was not admitted to 15 hospitals because of full capacity. Its good that he was able to recover with the home treatment. Another nephew Martin is also experiencing some symptoms but thank God he tested negative. It is really getting scarier because everyday, lots of people died from this virus. It is really very important to follow health and safety protocols even we are fully vaccinated.
By the way, i am also sending hugs and prayers to my only brother who is suffering from cancer. Its hard if people close to your heart are terminally ill, i just hope and pray that he will be fine so that he can still be with his family.
Cousins Bonding
My niece Mary Ann and her husband Bernd from Germany is currently in Canada to visit the family. They started exploring Edmonton with Marivic's family and also drive to Calgary to see my daughter. While in Calgary, they did visited the famous Banff, Moraine lake, Lake Louis, Calgary downtown and more. After 11 years they finally see each other and bond to the max.
