Typhoon Glenda

I'm happy to be back in the blogging world but so sad that the recent typhoon really affected our area. I am in Canada when the typhoon hit southern luzon and the metro manila area. My daughter took care of Dirk while i'm away and they experienced no electricity for four days. Its been a month but our area is not yet fully restored. Just like other storm, the Filipinos will always rise from the fall.
Now its back to normal again...

Family Visitor

I'm really overwhelmed with happiness when family members and friends visited us here at home. We consider Jovy a family member and i haven't seen her for a while for she is already based abroad with her korean husband. Thats why i'm really happy when they came for a visit together with my sisters and grandaughter.

Rest in Peace my Friend

Last week, i blog about Eva, my school friend long long time ago. We're both happy reminiscing our school days at Ramon Magsaysay in Manila and we're even exchanging jokes. Yesterday, she joined our Creator and i know wherever she is now, she is happy with our Lord and no more pain for her, my prayers and sympathy to her family.

Rainy Season

The rainy season is officialy here in our country. Unlike the past weeks in which the temperature rose to 40 plus celsius, its now more comfortable to sleep at night because of fresh air. The trees and plants are happy too with the rains but not for the students and commuters.

A Friend in Need

After forty years, i was able to reconnect with my batchmates and former classmates class 77 at Ramon Magsaysay High School in Manila thru facebook. I'm very glad that they still recognized me and proud of their achievement in life. While other are lucky some are not which is just normal. I was touched to see in one of their post that Eva is suffering a stage 4 breast cancer and needs help. Since they live just near us, i visited her and very happy to see her once again after soooo many years. Its not a nice reunion because of her condition but i'm there to cheer her up and lighten her burdens. My hearts tore apart when she cried in pain but she is a very strong woman because after the seizure, she smiles again as if nothing happened. I wanted to cry but i just controlled my emotions. I want this reunion of us to be a happy one and after some reminiscing and going back memory lanes, we bade her goodbye with a promise that i will appeal for help to our batchmattes to support her medical needs.
