Puto Bumbong and Bibingka

Christmas is just around the corner and for Pinoys, its not complete without our puto bumbong and bibingka. When i posted this on my facebook account, my friends all over the world started to feel some homesickness and expressed their cravings for this local delicacies. I experienced a lot of christmas in Germany and i would say, christmas is more happier and merrier here in the Philippines.

Balikbayan Boxes

Sending balikbayan boxes back home is the trademarks of the filipinos working abroad and my daughter in Canada is no excemption. She makes it a point to send packages which contains christmas presents to all her siblings. For more than 10 years i've been doing that for them and now its her turn.

Jaimee did it Again

My five year old grandaughter topped again the Quiz and spelling bee competition in their school. As a grandma i'm really very proud of her achievement paralleled with getting perfect scores on her periodical examinations on all subjects.

My Grandkids and Chay

My grandchildren posed for a groupie and selfeet in the early morning of Monday. They are our crocs babies and seeing them made my day.

Health Concern

When Dirk suffered a stroke two years ago, its good that we have a travel insurance to cover the cost of his hospitalization. But since then, no more insurance companies accepted our application because of his pre-existing conditions. Aside from Philhealth which is a big help, we also bought some shares at a small amount at Sta Rosa Medical center just to have discounts on medical services.

Astrid's Birthday and Travel

My youngest daughter Astrid celebrated her birthday in Bangkok, Thailand with one of her closest friends. Her best buddy Princess May made a nice picture of all my grandchildren greeting her. In return, she ordered Jollibee chicken joy and spaghetti for the whole family. Happy birthday anak and wishing you all the very best.
