We're Back from our Hongkong Trip

During our three-day vacation in Hongkong the weather is sooo gloomy that we were not able to explore other nice attractions. I really thanked God for the wonderful opportunity to celebrate my birthday and to bond with my family. God is great, though there are some minor problems in our trip (my daughter forgot her bag in the airport), HE keep us safe during our stay there and bring us home safely too.

My New Travel Companion

I'm already tired of bringing my big camera so i bought yesterday a small Nikon Coolpix P300 at Camera Haus in Mall of Asia. Though the quality of picture of DLSR are better, my new camera is not heavy and easy to use.

SM 3-day Sale

It will be back to school next month and the shoppers are already starting to buy school needs of their children. the discounted price at SM's 3-day sale is a big help for consumer like me.

Cha Cha Turns 5

Time flies so fast that our lovable shitzu is already five years old. We forgot to take pictures of the food we prepared and her small cake. Anyway below is her latest picture and summer cut.

Chay's Summer Getaway

Its really very hot everyday thats why most of the time we just stay inside the house. Our charming shitzu also feel the warm weather so she is now sporting a short haircut and make our bathroom her summer getaway.

Lunch at Microtel

Today's lunch was at Microtel Umenoya restaurant again and for a change Dirk tried their sushis. He said that it tastes good but for me just looking at it make my stomach stumble. I'm really not into japanese foods what i like there most is their fried tempura ice cream.

Dirk's Food Trip and More

It works for my advantage that i am not cooking for Dirk because eversince we retire here, its always a lunch or dinner out for us. Going out is also our way of getting out of our "comfort zones", feel the fresh air and our daily bonding. Its Dirk's small luxuries in life and he deserved it.

Dirk also has his regular dental appointment for cleaning but yesterday is more expensive because of 3 tooth filling and some repairs on dentures.

By the way, we really feel the wrath of summer almost reaching 40 degrees centigrade and much better to stay indoor.
