Family Staycation

 Its now alert level 2 in metro manila which means more easier restrictions and allowing children outside their houses. For kids, its hard to be just at home during the pandemic. Courtesy of Aleth, Buddy and my daughter Astrid who sponsored our trip , we did drive to Manila for a much needed rest and recreation. We stayed at Hilton Manila at Newport City in Pasay and we enjoyed it very much.  My children and grandkids are all very happy in their newfound freedom. Strict health protocols are also being observed in the hotel. Dirk loved it very much and together with the kiddos, they enjoyed the big size swimming pool.  Breakfast and dinner buffets are also good/ It was an amazing staycation and a wonderful family bonding.....

Astrid and Buddy's Visit

 Dirk was very happy when my daughter Astrid and Buddy suddenly just popped inside his room. He was surprised to see his "daughters" and they even had lunch together at Chicken Deli. They are planning to buy him an Ipad but there's no stock available. 

 

The 40th day Prayer for my Brother

 Time runs so fast, its been 40 days since our beloved only brother returned to our Creator. We held a prayer for the eternal repose of his soul held in their family home. Of course, we, his siblings and family are present. An early dinner or lunch follows and we also freed balloons as a sign of letting him wholeheartedly in the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ. May his soul rest in peace.

Lyka and Leila's Accomplishments

 I am very proud of my grandaughters who excelled in their academic performance in school this first quarter of the schoolyear.  Hopefully they will maintain it till the end of the semester next year. Face to face classes are not yet allowed and  they achieved it thru online and modular class. Keep it up Lelang and Ulay !!!!

Family Updates

 New additions to our family- my nephew Andreas welcomed his 4th daughter last week...

My daughter Astrid and Buddy arrived from Qatar for their much awaited vacation, they are still on quarantine in Manila...

Since they are here for vacation, i did drive Love Ford to their newly built house, my angel will be sad being alone in the garage..

My grandaughter got her first dose of covid 19 vaccine, the roll out for 12 to 17 years old now started... protection is the best defense against the virus..

Visiting my Family

 Its a good feeling everytime i visit my children and grandkids.  I have found an opportunity to visit them after i am done with my national identification card application at SPRNCHS near our home. I am also very happy to see our doggies especially my kingking. He still know me despite the fact that his life revolves now with my daughter Arianne and her family.
