Life in an ECQ
Next week the enhanced community quarantine will be lifted and as they said the new normal will take place. Whatever it is whether modified or simplified, one thing is sure, life is not the same as before. The lockdown teaches us a lot of valuable lessons and we learned to appreciate little things. In the Bachmann household, wearing of facemask inside and outside is a must. Dirk also tried to walk to get some fresh air after two months of just being inside the house.I know there will be a lot of changes and of course there will be a New US and ME. We will be adopting some lifestyle changes in foods and activities. We will be more careful with our health since we both have medical conditions. With our new journey, i know God is going to protect us in the new normal life....
By the way, my daughter Aiza is on the road to recovery after her arm operation. It will take time to resume to her usual activities but she's slowly getting better...

Cha-Cha's Birthday
Our Charing turns a year older last May 3 and she is now 11 years old. Time flies very fast since we have her and our lives changed a lot. Thanks to my daughters Astrid and Buddy for bringing her into the family. She became the apple of our eyes and since she is now older, my daughter Arianne and her husband is just giving her the best possible care.

The Birds
Before the lockdown, we are living in a past paced moving world but with this Covid 19, it suddenly comes to a halt. We appreciate more our family members and the things/nature around us. We come across some things that should be done inside the house and realized decluttering is very important. While cleaning our terrace, my attention was glued on the family of birds while resting in our roof. They just tend to this little one who is comfortably nesting between parentbirds. Its nice to look at them and only separated when its time for the adult birds to look for foods for their baby bird.

Kim's Birthday
Though its a late post, i just wanted to share to you that my grandson Kim in Canada turned a year older and he is now of legal age. Its a new journey for him and my birthday wish for him is to be more loving, caring, responsible, respectful and God fearing son to everyone. He now have his driving license and driving his own car. May he continue to be a good grandson and may the Lord always protects him everyday. Happy birthday again Kim and enjoy your legal stature by finishing a degree and make your mom proud of you. By the way, because of Covid 19, they just have a simple celebrations at home.
Happy Easter to All !!!
Its been quite peaceful and quiet in the whole community because of the lockdown on all areas. Honestly, i like the serenity, good nature and the blue skies but of course in my heart, i wish that our Lord will stop this corona virus from doing further harm to everyone. I hope and pray that our risen Lord will continue to protect all his people expecially my family. Lenten season is a time for reflection, forgiveness and after these trials, a new world awaits us.

Broken Arm Operation
Finally after waiting for severl weeks, my daughter Aizza had her broken bones operated at a hospital in San Pedro. Thank God it was successful though she had a faster pulse rate and vomiting which is normal after the operation. She is now halfway to recovery and more rehabilitation therapy soon. Motorcycle accident do happen and we should really be armed with cautiousness and prayers before leaving the house.

Family Games
The enhanced community quarantine has been extended till end of this month which means we will still stay at home for the protection and safety of everyone. Anyway, my kids and grandkids just indulge themselves with games considering they are in different locations to while away the time during the lockdown period.
