Father's Day

Today, we give honor to all dads, papa, tatay, amang and whatever we call to the man who nurtures and love us. As Reed Markham says, the quality of a father can be seen in the goals, dreams and aspirations he sets not only for himself but for his family. Indeed they are the men who stood for us and see to it that we will have a good life. My father is a soft spoken one but deep in his hearts he loved us so dearly. To my tatay in heaven and so with my stepfather, and with the GREAT FATHER in Heaven, Happy Father's Day ....

Canada Vacation

I thought our flight will be cancelled because of the strong typhoon but thanked GOD we arrived safely here in Calgary. Our body clock is not yet normal but we're getting there. In the meantime we will just sleep and sleep to recover, more updates soon ....

Buddy's Birthday

Its a late post but i just want to share the birthday celebrations of a family member who is based in Qatar. Buddy is just like a daughter to me and she celebrated her 28th birthday with close friends and colleagues. Anyway, we want to greet her a belated Happy birthday and may the Lord continue to grant her good health and more blessings to come....

My Scholar

I'm very glad that Menchie, who once a nanny of my grandson visited us at home. She started taking care of Kitkit at 6 months old until the time he is 6 years old. During those times he juggled herself with the task of being a second mom and a BSBA student. And when she finished her studies, its also the time that her ward will fly to Canada together with his brother kim and my daughter. I send her to school because i want her to fullfill her dreams and also to be able to help her family. Education is very important and thats one of the key to success.

My Tres Marias

Last saturday, my grandaughters joined the yearly santacruzan in our street in San Pedro, Laguna as Tres Marias. Before they started as angels and look at them now, they are now pretty small ladies...

Mother's Day

As they say a mother is the one who can take the place of others but whose place no one else can take. Just like other moms, we wake up before everyone does and staying up late to ensure our children's safety and comfort. I would say now that my kids are all grown up, what i'm doing now is just to guide them. Happy mother's day to all moms in this world...

Lifelong Learning

According to Brian Tracy “Those people who develop the ability to continuously acquire new and better forms of knowledge that they can apply to their work and to their lives will be the movers and shakers in our society for the indefinite future.” This is really true because education is a continuing process. I'm very happy that my OFW daughter Astrid is upgrading her knowledge thru company sponsored seminar. In that way she gained more know hows which she can apply to her present work.
