Astrid's Journey as an OFW

Working abroad has become the ultimate dream of most filipinos but being an OFW is not that easy. My daughter Astrid who works in Qatar is not an exception. I know her journey and as a mother i am with her all the way. I know she endured the pain of being away from the family and i felt the emotional roller coaster ride to where she is now. I am proud of her and i know she is a fighter. Time flies very fast and she is now on her third year working away from home. Thank you Lord for giving her strength and for keeping them safe everyday.

My Nephew's Family

Andreas is the oldest son of my sister Naty who is based in Germany. Time flies very fast because I saw his development from a kid to a family man. He is now a father to his three beautiful daughters and my sister is really very happy doting to his grandaughters.

My Kids

All my children are now all grown ups and have their own families to look up to. Coping with their growing up means preparing them for their new life and also letting them go for them to become their own person. Though we all live apart from each other, communicating is just one click away, thanks to the new technology.

Yesterday, the chinese people celebrates the new year, the year of the earth dog. As filipinos, we also embraced their cultures and i just wish all my FB chinese friends and some relatives good health, luck and success. But we should not depend our life on mere luck, we should have strong determination, patience and be hardworking to achieve our goals.

Isko's Birthday

My son in law in Canada celebrated his birthday with family and friends last February 9. I'm really very happy that my daughter Rose Belle finally found someone who is responsible and very supportive partner in life. Words are not enough to describe his goodness and generosity to us and i just wish Isko good health and more blessings to come.
