Kitkit's Birthday Celebrations

My grandson Keith celebrated his 7th birthday yesterday with a superman theme. It was attended by the momsies, beshies, kids and oldies. The birthday celebration was a big hit with lots of foods and freebies. Many thanks to our friends in canada who helped my daughter prepare for the kit's big day.

Zumba

Even if i am really tired for the daily errands and household chores, i see to it that i have time for physical fitness. Our zumba session is every monday and thursday with with alternating zin instructress. It was very tiring but i should do something for my overweight body.

Kids Rewards

My daughter Arianne always gives rewards to her two kids Mimi and Jared when they achieve something good. Mimi placed third in a science quiz bee while Jarred is also getting used to schooling and can now write his name. Their rewards comes in a form of kids day out at Kidzoona where they can enhanced more their talents.

Sunday@SM Santa Rosa

Our favorite buffet restaurant just opened at SM santa rosa and it seems that its a big hit for families on weekend. For a price of 298 pesos plus VAT, i think its reasonable enough. Though most of the dishes are filipino foods, Dirk liked it very much.

While having lunch, the staff of Ace Hardware are also busy putting the new leather seat cover of Love....

My Girl Scouts

I am very happy that despite some financial difficulties on the part of my children who are carrying the burden of sending kids to private schools, their daughters still joined the Girl Scouts. I still remember when i was their age, i really liked to join but my mother didn't allow me because we don't have enough money for the uniform. Anyway, i hope my grandaughters will learn something from being a girl scout and be prepared at all times....

Our Cenacle Prayer Group

After staying for us for three weeks, Mama Mary is now with the Regaspi family. They are very religious and the kids also participated in our praying the rosary and the interpretation of the gospel. After the prayers and sharings, we feasted on foods that Luchi prepared because of the birthday of her son and daughter. Over the sumptuous dinner, its catching up time for all of us.

By the way before Mama Mary left our house, our lighted candle formed a heart figure. Sure it was Mama Mary's way of expressing her love and gratitude to all of us.
