The Beauty of Nature

God gave us so many blessings and one of them is the mother nature. Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and Banff are 3 of must see tourist destinations here in Alberta. Thanked God that we are very lucky to see this amazing work of wonders and i'm really thankful for my daughter belle and son in law Elland for making these things possible.

Walmart Shopping

What I like more here in canada is the shopping part. I used to be once a shopaholic when we still live and work in germany. Now it's different because we are already retired and had limited income. I only now bought items that we really needs for practical reason Anyway, my daughter here is spoiling us to the max.

Anyway, we already had lots of stuff that I will bring back to the Philippines mostly for my children and their kids. Thanks to Belle, Isko and Kim who at his age is already earning his own money and sponsored most of the presents.

Sunday Bonding

We are enjoying our vacation here and dirk is very at home at my daughter's place. Yesterday my son in law fulfill his wish to see a tesla electric car and thats the reason why we are at chinook centre in downtown calgary. We had snacks cum early dinner at Peters known here for delicious hamburgers and fries. I am very happy that Rosebelle finally meet a responsible, kind, generous and loving partner in life.

Videochat with Kids

Thanks to the new technology, my children are connected to each other by videochat and group chat thru messenger. The thousand miles distance is not a hindrance for updates with loved ones back home.

By the way my grandaughter Mimi celebrated her 8th birthday with a simple celebration.

The Cheesecake Factory

The restaurant located at the upper floor of Macys is one of the famous restaurant in USA. It was there we bond with Girlie, Rosebelle's college friend for some catching up moments. It was nice meeting and be with them even for a short time. By the way we also spend our last day here by shopping and just looking at the nice union square park over a cup of starbucks coffee.
