Yesterday, the second son of my niece was baptized at San Pedro Apostol church in Laguna. It was a sort of family reunion and i'm very happy to bond with my family and relatives.

Shakeys

Dirk always ordered Belly Buster pizza at Shakeys everyday. He liked it very much and it seems that the day is not complete without eating pizza.

Donuts and Pies

Everytime my adoptive daughters came to visit us, they always bring some foods to share, either donuts which is Dirk's favorite or other sweets. My daughter Astrid also did bring some delicacies from Davao where they spend three days of rest and recreation.

My Vacation in Germany

I considered my 4-week stay in Germany as a working vacation because i have to accomplish a lot of things. Thanks God i was able to balance organizing things and some bonding with friends. I was also able to visit the Koeln Cathedral and a short trip to France. During those times, i was able to communicate daily with Dirk using the WE CHAT. Thanks to the modern technology and social networking, i am updated on whats happening here with my family. Now back here in the Philippines, i miss my best friends in Germany, the green scenery, my car and the kartoffel suppe.
