My Vacation in Germany

I considered my 4-week stay in Germany as a working vacation because i have to accomplish a lot of things. Thanks God i was able to balance organizing things and some bonding with friends. I was also able to visit the Koeln Cathedral and a short trip to France. During those times, i was able to communicate daily with Dirk using the WE CHAT. Thanks to the modern technology and social networking, i am updated on whats happening here with my family. Now back here in the Philippines, i miss my best friends in Germany, the green scenery, my car and the kartoffel suppe.

Our Makati Adventure

Last friday, we did drive to Ayala in Makati because we need to go to the german embassy for some transaction. Dirk is very happy for its a different surroundings and enjoyed our trip a lot.

Happy Father's Day !!!

Happy Dad's Day to all Tatay, Papa, papi and to all who serve as father figure to the family. Today we recognize the importance of all Fathers and their contribution to our growth and well-being. Also, we should give tribute to them who took time and made the major commitment simply to be there for us.

Back to School

The summer vacation has just ended and millions of kids returns to school this week. Thank God my youngest son was motivated again to pursue his college education. Below is one of my grandaughter attending a kindergarten orientation. Education is very important, the first step to a bright future.

Lunch at Pavilion

For a change, we have lunch at Pavilion in Binan and Dirk liked it very much the new ambience. I was also surprised that there are more stores and restaurants there that i promised to Dirk that we're going there again and tried their specialties.
