Church Duty
I've been in hiatus for my wedding marshall duty at St. Benedict church since December. But last tuesday, i served again for the wedding of a filipina and a german guy. I can relate to it of course because of my marriage to a wonderful guy from the other side of the world. But i think regardless to marry someone from a different culture, the couples have to find the way to live together and overcome the cultural differences. By the way, i also took photo of our Filipino saints, San Lorenzo Ruiz and Pedro Calungsod.
Day's New Place
Today we visited the new place of our good friends, Day and Gary. Having finished a culinary course, she offered us a welcome mango banana shake and muffins. I liked the ambience of the house but the good thing is they are now near our place.
By the way, i was sooo happy with my plants and orchids in our garden. Its a gift from our neighbor friends two years ago.

Visiting my Mother's Grave
After our lunch at Vivere Skyline Restaurant in Alabang, we then proceeded to Everlasting Memorial Park to visit my mother's grave. We braved the hot weather which reached 40 degrees centigrade, the hottest so far in the metropolis. Its going to be the 7th year death anniversary of my mother and some family members do visit her once in a while.

Mark and Grace Wedding
Its just like a fairytale love story for Mark and Grace, our neighbor friends at Southforbes. Their dream wedding came into reality today at Taal Hotel in Tagaytay overlooking the lake. It was a very nice wedding eventhough it was just conceptualized two months ago. It was attended by their relatives and family friends. For them it was the moment that they waited for so long. The ambience was very nice and the foods are great as well. As a friend, i just wish them all the best for their marriage. Let the pictures speaks for themselves.

Dinner at Gerry's Grill
Everyday we have our lunch out either at Racks, Pancake House, Chubby's or at Spaghetti House but Dirk's favorite is Shakeys. He liked very much the Heros classic hamburger and pizza pepperoni there. When it comes to spring rolls and fresh lumpia, he liked Rose and Grace restaurant. But today Dirk has a special wish to have dinner at Gerry's Grill and in fairness to the restaurant, if also offered the best tasting pinoy dishes ever.
