Its a great weekend because my family is here visiting us for a couple of days. We enjoyed the sunday lunch out at Rose and Grace after Dirk spend some minutes in the clubhouse pool.
It was a night of fun and laughter with my SFV neighbor friends at Lim's residence last night. Over some snacks, tea and other drinks, we were able to catch up on each others lives.
We just had our lunch in the sky, at the 31st floor of Vivere Hotel in Alabang with the Sawyers. As part of memory recovery for Dirk, we bring him to places that we did go before and he liked it very much. He remembered that we celebrated his 55h birthday there.
The three weeks vacation of my two children working overseas is already over. I know its hard for them to leave their respective families but they are doing it for a good future. I can relate to their sentiments because I've been there, done that. I felt the same before when i left the country for a greener pasture for them and now its their turn. For us we need to sacrificed a lot, not seeing your kids in their formative years. Everytime my vacation ended, i left with a heavy heart but what can i do, i dont have any options or probably thats the only options i have to be able to give them a good education and a bright future.
I really feel great when i am with my family. We have lunch together at Racks yesterday and visited my other grandchildren in our family house in San Pedro. Its a wonderful weekend bonding moment for all of us.
