S and R Shopping

There are lots of stores near our house like South Supermarket, Rustans and Robinsons but we sometimes shop at S&R in Alabang because of the wide variety of foods and non-food items available in the store. Last monday, we have a spontaneous shopping there and i really liked their assortments. We also bought our favorite crispy US Apple Strudel which is sooooo delicious.

Friday Get-Together

Its a long weekend here in the Philippines because of the celebration of All Saints Day. I spend my friday evening with my friends and did drive to Nasugbu, Batangas for a weekend with the Hasketts. I enjoy the bonding with my friends and appreciated the wonderful nature at Peninsula de Punta Fuego.

White Men at Work

We are very grateful for our canadian friend Steve for helping Dirk installing the ready made trusses for our garage yesterday. It really saves time, money, effort and worker for this made to order trusses and it really fits very well.

Visiting my Mother's Grave

The weather today is sooo horrible, dark clouds and non-stop rains. Its good that yesterday we were able to visit my mother's grave at Everlasting Peace in San Pedro. Six years has passed and we still miss my mother's love and affection to all of us.

Weekend Visitors

Last sunday, Eric and his family visited us at home. Time runs really very fast, the first time their baby came here was when she was 3 months old and look at her now, she's running around our house most of the time. We have a wonderful time with the young couple sharing with them experiences in life.

Lunch at Festival Mall

Yesterday we did drive to Festival Mall to buy medicines and to meet my daughter Astrid. We have lunch stogether at Sbarro, our favorite italian restaurant. Its just a short meeting but it means a lot to me.
