A Busy Thursday

Today, we did drive to Alabang to buy some stuff for our house. Our first stop was at Festival Mall where we have our lunch at Super Bowl of China. Dirk ordered chinese soup only because he was very much on diet and while we're still eating, he bought nuernberger, a white german sausage at Zentis.

We then drive to Wilcon Home depot and bought some electrical and plumbing items. We also buy some non-food items at S&R membership shopping store.

In the afternoon, we have a surprised visitors, the soon-to-be neighbor Thomas and Remy. They are in the design planning stage of their dream house.

Bonding with Friends and Kids

While waiting for my children at Paseo, i have a long talk with my neighbor friend Rosanna and Sweet, a sweet gay. Roxanne as we fondly call her also lives before in Netherland and they are now staying here for good. She said that her children are now very much adjusted here and soon to graduate in college.

When my kids arrived, we have dinner at Jollibee and its a good opportunity for me to bond with my other children. We then proceed to our house and have dessert there.

The Family House

The mother-in-law of my eldest son is always inviting us to visit their place in Cabanatuan everytime we're in the country for vacation. It only materialized last weekend when we attended the baptismal of my grandson Aivler Vaughn, the second son of Anthony.

The Ponce family house sits on a 375 square meter lot. Their architect did a good job in building their house. I really like it at first look, the interior of the house, the kitchen, bedrooms, entertainment room , dirty kitchen and the big space at the back and side for some family bonding.

The house is a product of long years of hardwork and business-wise. There's no family members who work abroad to seek a greener pasture, they cultivate their own seeds and harvest it through strong will and determination. It's another success story without leaving our homeland.

A Relaxing Friday

It's friday again and that means the start of a weekend. I'm still in the recovery mode because of long flight from Germany to here. My body clock is not yet normal and still have sleep deficits. After seeing Adeth this morning, my daughters and me decided to just pamper ourselves.

Thats what i like here most in the Philippines, pampering is more cheaper

Happy to be Back Home

We did sleep till 12 pm for our first day in the Philippines. It's understandable because we arrived close to midnight. The first thing that we did was filling our stomach for brunch at Flavours of China together with my eldest daughter & grandkids.

Floh Markt in Offenburg

A flea market or flohmarkt is a type of bazaar where inexpensive or secondhand goods are sold or bartered. The flea market vendors may range from a family that is renting a table for the first time to sell a few unwanted household items to a commercial operation including a large variety of used merchandise.

Last saturday, there's a small flea market in Offenburg Markplatz. The weather was very nice and its really good for vendors, rare finders and antique collectors.

Now, its ice cream time!!!
