Run, Tonette, Run!!! - While browsing our vacation photos, i came accross a picture of me running and i really don't remember the reason why i'm running, blame it on my alzheimer level 1.5. The kids in the picture were also surprised by my actions, me too!!! Maybe, i'm the modern version of Sisa looking for Basilio and Crispin. The picture was taken in Seaworld during our vacation in Brisbaine, Australia.

Pink and Blue

Though its very foggy the whole day yesterday, we still did drive to Lahr to visit Thomas and Mabel. At the runabout, there are two business establishment that always caught my attention. Why??? because the color of the buildings are pink and blue which happen to be my favorite color.

Hot Stone Massage

As part of Dirk's losing weight program, he needs massage regularly. In the Philippines its not a problem because we have therapists who came to our house every other day. Massage and other pampering service is very expensive here in Germany. So for the meantime, i am Dirk's massage girl.



Aside from the regular massage, i also use hot stones for him. I placed the stones on his back followed by a massage which can be deeper and more intense as heat penetrates the body and relaxes the muscles.



Hot Stone therapy can help in the treatment of muscular aches, pains, strains, rheumatic and arthritic conditions. It also helps to improve circulation and can help reduce stress, anxiety, tension and depression.

My Prize and Pandesal

I came home last sunday not empty handed. Why??? because i won this teapot courtesy of Elena. There are lots of prizes big and small at the 2nd KAPWA Sinulog celebration. There are many donors and sponsors so most of the attendees are winners.



By the way, though we're just barely a week here in Germany, i suddenly miss the Philippines so i bought this 5 euro Pandesal.

Dining with Friends

Last sunday after attending the Sinulog celebration in Offenburg, Joy invited us for dinner at her place. She cooked Lechon Paksiw and she wanted it to shared with us.





The next day, its Mcdonalds day for the four of us, Lucy, Joy, Madam Jo and me.

KAPWA Sinulog Celebration

Yesterday, KAPWA, an organization of Filipinos here in Baden Württember held its second Sinulog celebration in Offenburg. A German Priest celebrated the mass in honor of our dear Santo Nino. The untiring effort and dedication of its President Tess Walter and members makes the celebration another huge success. The pictures below proved and speak for itself.

Winter Sale

Yesterday, i browsed around Offenburg to buy some household stuff. Most of the stores are on winter sale reducing their items up to 70%. But one thing is noticeable, there are very few shoppers on this stores. Maybe its still the effect of christmas spendings and here in Germany, the month of January had the most number of costs because of annual billings on basic services. Besides we still havent recovered from the worldwide economic crisis.
