Public Markets
Its a whole new experience for Mutti to shop at public markets. Yesterday, we did go to Binan Public market to buy some clothing materials for her. Its incomparable compare to shops in Germany. At the public market in Paseo, we bought pork, fruits and vegetables. At least, she was able to experience the Filipino way of life during her short stay here.

A Nice Sunday
After the short visit of Nona and her family, we decided to have a late lunch at Nuvali's korean restaurant. I ordered Congee and Shrimp Siomai while Dirk and Mutti tried the tenderloin dishes. The food tastes good though Mutti always disliked dishes with garlic.
We then shopped at the nearby small stores where i tried kwek kwek, a birds egg coated with flour.

Christmas with the Shepherd
Last night, we also celebrated christmas with Ted and Anabelle Shepherd, our friendly neighbor at Southforbes. They said they also have lots of guests that day mostly relatives so she prepared a lot of foods and gifts. Brian and Lucy Sawyer also joined us together with Anabelle's cousin Elena and her family. Christmas is really wonderful when you spend it with loved ones and friends.

Merry Christmas to All !!!!
It's Christmas time, the season of sharing, giving and forgiving. Last night, we celebrated the christmas eve with my family. My children and grandkids came and only Arianne don't make it because of her work at Mercury Drug. Anyway, she's represented by Jaimee, our Bulingling who filled up the absence of her parents. The kids also bring along our shih tzu named Cha-cha. Family friends, Brian, Lucy, Eric and Roxanne also joined our christmas eve celebration. As usual, the children liked very much the cash and gift giving.

Market Day
Our retirement house is in the best location, close to nature and to everything. We're just 5 minutes away from the shopping center and public market. My family will come tomorrow for the traditional christmas eve get together and gift giving thats why I did drive to the market today to buy some fresh vegetables, meat and poultry products. Inside the wet and dry market are also the fruit stores, eateries, tailoring shop and other stalls. There are two bread shops, i even watched how they cooked doughnuts.

Kid-Friendly Malls
The Mall of Asia is one of the baby/kid- friendly malls that i know. Yesterday, when we have our shopping there, i noticed some amenities that will thrill the kids no end. The parents can shop conveniently while the kids are playing and older kids do the skating. There's also a breastfeeding station for mothers to breastfed their baby.
