Wedding Preparations

My son is going to have a simple wedding next month and the catering service came today to view the site and decoration plans. By the way, its been a year that Dirk suffered a stroke and we thank God for his new lease in life. His recovery is amazing because of the support of family and friends.

Bowling with Friends

Our friends Bryan and Lucy are back from UK and its our first time to play bowling with them together with the Hasketts. Dirk is very happy because he won by one point against Lucy. His play is improving a lot and that boost his morale and self confidence. Anyway its just a friendly competition and one way of keeping fit as well.

I am very happy for the academic achievement of my 4-year old grandaughter Mimi in the kindergarten. She's improving a lot because of the supervision of her mom, my daughter Arianne. She's very strict when it comes to studies because she wanted to instill discipline in her formative years.

Relief Drive

To help the victims of super typhoon Yolanda in Leyte and other visayan provinces, the Southforbes homeowners also launched a donation drive but only in kind and no cash. A lot of homeowners answered to the appeal and this only shows that in our own little way, we can help and share our blessings to the others in need.

Sunday at Festival Mall

Yesterday, we did drive to Festival Mall for some shopping and browsing. My good friend Yna did bring her children and grandson for some bonding, after all, for us Filipinos, sunday is family day.

The Other Side of Charing

Sometimes we called her different names, chay, cha, cararat, chakira and whatever it is, she remained to be our loving companion here in our house. She makes us happy but sometimes she also shows her naughtiness, look what she'd done below.

Lunch with Kiddos

The strongest typhoon is about to come today but this didnt stop me from having lunch with two of my children at Pavillion Mall. Its always a great feeling to see and bond with them.

Its fit and fun day again yesterday with neighbor friends at The Mills Bowling Lanes. Dirk is very happy because every game, he displayed a lot of improvement. He is really motivated not only in bowling but also in his physical disabilities.
