Our Makati Adventure

Last friday, we did drive to Ayala in Makati because we need to go to the german embassy for some transaction. Dirk is very happy for its a different surroundings and enjoyed our trip a lot.

Happy Father's Day !!!

Happy Dad's Day to all Tatay, Papa, papi and to all who serve as father figure to the family. Today we recognize the importance of all Fathers and their contribution to our growth and well-being. Also, we should give tribute to them who took time and made the major commitment simply to be there for us.

Back to School

The summer vacation has just ended and millions of kids returns to school this week. Thank God my youngest son was motivated again to pursue his college education. Below is one of my grandaughter attending a kindergarten orientation. Education is very important, the first step to a bright future.

Lunch at Pavilion

For a change, we have lunch at Pavilion in Binan and Dirk liked it very much the new ambience. I was also surprised that there are more stores and restaurants there that i promised to Dirk that we're going there again and tried their specialties.

My Everyday Companions

The new gadgets really introduced great time saving advantages and makes our life more easier. In this year of new technologies, everywhere i go, kids and big kids plays with their ipad, iphone, tablets, cellphones or any other gadgets. I go with the flow and now i can't leave the house without my trusted buddies.

Chocolates

I'm not a chocolate lover nor that i have a sweet tooth, but during our meeting at the garden of one of my SFV friends, she served the chocolate pictured below. It taste good that i bought one as well at Säntis and Dirk loved the taste too, no doubt, it comes from Europe.

Dirk's New Haircut

For the past days, i'm suggesting to Dirk to have a haircut but his answer is always a big No. But yesterday, i asked him again and he readily said Yes. Now he looked more handsome than before.

Helping Hands

One of the good things i like here in the Philippines is that we always have a ready helping hands to help us doing the never ending household chores, repairs and maintenance. For a small fee and foods for the workers, they will give their best to do whatever task given to them.
