The owner of this car woke up one morning to find his car totally kaputt. It was parked outside the house and somebody smashed on it in the middle of the night. The other silver car was damaged as well and its good that the driver who hit the cars showed up the next day.

A Rainy Sunday

It's supposed to be the peak of summer here in Germany but its always raining and very cold. The global warming is taking its toll anywhere in the world. Anyway, we have a very delicious lunch and dessert at Hotel Traube today.



In the afternoon, another Thomas, our future neighbor at Southforbes visited us at home. He's on the way to Switzerland for a business trip and dropped by to have talks with Dirk regarding his house project.

The Shoppers

Lucy and me have two things in common, we love browsing around the city and eating our favorite snacks at Palazzo. We shopped at Karstadt and bought an Ipanema rubber slipper. Upon reaching home, i tried again the slipper and found out that it has different sizes. I'm going to return it tomorrow, its good that i was able to keep the receipt. We also saw some friends while browsing around the city.

Message to the World

The V sign is a hand gesture in which the first and second fingers are raised and parted, while the thumb and remaining fingers are clenched. The sign was widely used by peace movements in the early years and also as a symbol of victory for peace and truth.


Peace is something that many people in the world wish for, yet there are many places in our world where there is no peace. In our own way, my family and friends wanted to convey the message of peace to everyone around the world.

Every year, we never fail to join the Nussbach sunflower festival. Though the program is always the same every year, what is important is the bonding time that i shared with Dirk, the love of my life.

Meet Valentina

Our new colleague is a combination of russian and german. Her name is Valentina and she is just 19 years old. She is very hardworking and really wanted to earn money so that she will not be anymore dependent from her parents.


She also gave me chocolates from Russia, a land of opportunity and an extremely powerful country

Shopping Tales

After buying some groceries at Aldi, i noticed the two dogs outside the store patiently waiting for their masters return from food shopping.


There's no panic buying, Dirk just avail the discounted price of coke zero.

Ulay Goes to School

Lyka Anjanette or Ulay as we fondly called her is now attending a nursery school. My 2 1/2 year old grandaughter seems to enjoy her first day studying and playing together with her newfound friends.

Kaputt T-Shirt

The other day, Dirk wear his new t-shirt and motorcycle jacket. As part of his losing weight program, he played golf and swim twice a day. He goes to the golf course and private swimming pool using his motorcyle so that he can save on gasoline. When he returned from swimming, i noticed that there is a black stain on his t-shirt so i decided to wash it. Below is the result, i'm clueless of what happened. Its not the washing machine, maybe the culprit is the black stains from the motorcycle jacket or maybe not....

Nesselried Brennt

Also last sunday, the annual Nesselried Brennt festival was held in our place. Nesselried is very famous for the distillation of fruit juice to produce high percentage liquor.






Aside from different liquors, there are also some stores selling different stuff.
